Court Conference Rescheduled in Wells Campus Sale Matter

Recent correspondence from the New York State Supreme Court confirms that the previously scheduled virtual court conference related to the proposed sale of the Wells College campus has been adjourned and rescheduled.

The matters, which include Minerva Institute at Aurora’s motion to intervene in the sale proceedings, were originally set for late February. Due to motions filed after the initial scheduling, the Court has formally moved the conference date.

The new conference date is March 11, 2026.

As noted in the Institute’s February 13 filing, Minerva has requested the opportunity to participate in the legal review of the proposed campus transfer to the Hiawatha Institute for Indigenous Knowledge. The Institute’s motion asks the Court to consider its competing proposal and to ensure fairness and transparency in the sale process.

The matter remains pending before the Court. Further updates will be shared as appropriate.
